    Ephesians-Protected to Proclain
    Are you ready?
Every chink in our godly armor is an opportunity for the enemy to attack. Conversely, when protected, we can boldly proclaim our faith! We need to be praying, begging, pleading for God to be working among all of us!
The armor of God is not just meant for ourselves; it is meant to spread the gospel!

    Ephesians-Serve One Another
We tend to hate the word "submit."
It's hard to submit to your spouse when they don't change. It's annoying to obey your parents when they don't listen. Don't even get started on the boss at work...
But the reality is this: God calls us to serve one another!

    Ephesians-Changed-From Old to New
Have you been chasing after things that don't fully satisfy you?
We too often don't look to God for what we need: joy, relational value, bravery...the list goes on. When we give up our crutches and fully rely on the Holy Spirit, He delivers what we truly need. He then can work in and through us as individuals and as the body of Christ.
He longs to bring about transformation in us--to change us, from old to new!

    Ephesians-Built Up in Love
Once we know what our calling is, how do we go about it?
Because we have all been crafted uniquely, we fit into different roles to do God's work. When we see all these roles in action together, the body of Christ can effectively equip the church. It is with imbalance, outside of God's unity, that we find chaos.
We were made to build each other up in love!

    Ephesians-Commonly Unique
Do you feel like you just blend in with the crowd?
God has created all of us to be unique as individuals! He has a specific role that nobody else can do in the way that He wants you to. Yet within this uniqueness, we share a common calling: to glorify God and make disciples.
    Paul knew his calling--do you?

    Ephesians-Tear Down Walls
Are there any barriers between you and another?
We like to build up our walls of defense, but Jesus came to tear them down! He came, as human, to remove prejudices, sin, pride, hostility...anything that separates us from people and God. He wants everyone to have access to His family!
He has made a way; let us walk through into His dwelling place.

    Ephesians-Dead, but Alive!
We've all heard it before: "Christians are so judgmental."
Why is this so common? Sometimes, it's almost like we forget who we used to be ourselves. The reality is that Christians need God just as much as non-believers.
With great rejoicing, let us remember that we were dead, but Christ made us alive!

    Ephesians-Those Who Intercede
When we pray for others, are we doing it with the right mindset?
Too often, we just pray for God to remove a problem...but if we start with the right motivation, our prayers are aligned with the heart of God. Understanding the promises and power of God then causes us to wait with hopeful expectancy that He will do His good will!
We are called into a powerful role as intercessors for those around us!

    Ephesians-Those Who Remember
Humanity has an amazing capacity to forget.
We forget our wallet, our keys, or whether or not we left the stove on. Sometimes, we are glad to finally blot an event out of our memory...but what about the good things we are supposed to remember?
This week, let us together remember the works of our Father!
